Als Antwort auf <a href="https://blue-joline.com/bilddokumentation-joline-kommt-aus-dem-wasser/#comment-107">david melville</a>.

Hi David,
we hauled out our Lagoon 421 at RAM in 2025 and the boat is currently on the hard until the end of 2025.
We didn’t have any refit work done by the yard itself, so I can’t comment on their mechanical or fiberglass services — but I can share our experience with the haul-out and the facility.

Haul-out:
The equipment is a bit basic compared to some large yards in other countries, but the crew is very experienced and handles standard wide-beam catamarans with care. They really take their time and do a fantastic job. For a Logoon the operation feels totally safe. It needs a bit more time because they have a tow step prozess.

Communication:
Good overall. For appointments or schedule changes it helps to follow up once — responses come, but sometimes with a small delay.

Storage:
Excellent. The yard area is clean, stable, quiet and feels very safe. We are fully happy with the place where our boat is stored. There is a concrete area and a gravel area, both are fine. You also have toilets and showers and the area is completely closed.

Marina shop:
Very reliable. They order parts quickly and everything has arrived as expected. Takes some time to bring the parts to Guatemala, prices are reasonable.

General impression:
If you plan a refit in 2026, RAM is definitely a solid option. Many cruisers work on their boats themselves or get jobs done and the yard is used to long-term projects.

Regards,
