Impressions of the transition from day to night on the Caribbean Sea…

In Panama, or rather on the San Blas Islands, the sunset happens quite quickly – much faster than in Germany.

Heaven 07 — Typical are:

Heaven 06 — Approximately 20–30 minutes from the first "the sun touches the horizon" until darkness.

Heaven 10 — The actual sun often disappears completely below the horizon in just 2–5 minutes.

Heaven 05 — This is followed by a short tropical twilight ("Blue Hour")

Heaven 08 — The reason: Panama is located very close to the equator. There, the sun sinks more steeply below the horizon than in Europe.

Heaven 09 — For Panama, the average sunset duration is given as approximately 24 minutes.

Heaven 11 — The San Blas Islands are especially beautiful because:

Heaven 03 — – the sun shines almost directly into the Caribbean Sea,

Heaven 12 — – the colors become extremely intense,

Heaven 04 1 — and it happens at almost the same time all year round
