The African Zoo opened in Rabat in 2012. Since we particularly love flora and fauna, and after all the ancient walls and medinas, we were looking for a change. We love zoos and were very excited to see how the theme was implemented here in Africa and what animals we would encounter there...

The path leads to the reptile house

Conclusion: A small, very well-maintained facility that invites you to linger, with authentic-looking enclosures – there aren't that many animals, and we didn't see any unexpected ones – but it was worth it, and we spent a relaxing few hours there – we arrived by taxi.
